Apparently some details has appeared about Phantom Brave for PSP in japan from a magazine, so I guess PB fans who want it for PSP can be very happy now that it's on the way.

Myself I'm beginning to question if NIS really wants their situation to get better or not, since I really doubt that all these ports they're releasing are better for them than creating new games. And if i remember right, hasn't the situation just gotten worse and worse for NIS since they started releasing so many PSP ports of their games?

I'd really would prefer if they had done a PB2 instead of another port when they've already ported it to Wii.

How much does it actually cost to port a game anyway? Maybe they see it as making some kinda money back rather than funding a brand new project. If it didn't sell that well in the first place maybe a port is the cheapest option to recoup some money. I know I'll buy it and I'm sure many many other people would too. Disgaea is another port to the psp and to be honest I think it really fits/suits the psp perfectly. In my opinion Phantom Brave would make an ideal addition to any SRPG fans psp collection.

This one would be import friendly at least.

I agree with Silvertongue, I'm sure a port is way cheaper than a new game, and since these games had good selling on PS2, NIS expect it will be the same thing for PSP.

I don't mind the ports if they continue to make new games too, but I'd like them to release these ports at least in US (I'm talking about La Pucelle, yeah)

Well it's true that a port definitely should be cheaper when it comes to production, though the distribution and such stuff probably still costs a lot.

And I'm not sure if this is the case, but it seems to me that ports usually sell a lot less than the original games. And probably even more less when a game is ported several times, which isn't good.

But well i guess the games should sell very good in japan as the PSP is very popular there, though i don't know if that makes up for all the illegal downloads. :(

Well as long as NIS's situation gets better so that they can create new games instead, I'll be really happy. Or if they keep releasing ports, i just wish that they would release a port of Tori no Hoshi: Aerial Planet for PS3 and then release it in america and/or europe. :D

Well there is far too much illegal downloads going around were the psp is concerned and the awful thing is people that pay for the games like us kinda get punished because they see bad sales and then the games don't get localised for Europe / Oz /U.S. (although the U.S. stand a better chance of the games than PAL territories. Good thing the psp is region free).

I'm hoping this gets a U.S. / PAL release as I do with La Pucelle Ragnarok although I won't hold my breath as I may turn a lovely shade of blue waiting!

Apparently the game gets some new cameo appearances like the Unloser Ranger from Z.H.P. :D

I see Hero Prinny makes an appearance. Well no Nippon game is complete without an appearance from a Prinny, lol!

Zetta ? meh. I don't like him that much, I'd have prefer Pram...

Anyway, who are the other two cameos ? I think it will be Asagi and a D3 character...

And... what's the system tweaks ?

ManaAlchemist

Hasn't Asagi been in PB earlier though? Or am i mistaken? Otherwise i guess some La Pucelle Tactics character might make a cameo appearance or something.

Well, no if I believe this wiki : http://disgaea.wikia.com/wiki/Asagi

And since Asagi seems to be condemned to never have her game, I think she'll keep on appearing as a cameo in NIS games

This game will be releasing in Europe in March 2011. It seems to be released on PSN only.

Is it out very soon now?
I'll probably end up with 2 versions of this game, I preordered a us umd version one from Nisa store and will likely get the psn version if it ends up with noticeable loading times like disgaea infinite had...
