Tecmo Koei X Bandai Namco teaser site?

So TK and NB has revealed that the game they teased about will be One Piece: Kaizoku Musou. (Could any mod that see this thread change the topic name to "One Piece: Kaizoku Musou" instead maybe?)

So anyone have anything they want to discuss of it, or anything they wish TK & NB will put in the game?

Anyone have any good guesses of what it might be?

Myself i believe it probably will be a anime x dynasty warriors game, and i hope that it is too. And from the pink smoke effect on the teaser site, I'm guessing something along the lines of DW Toriko or DW One Piece (smoke reminds me of Luffy's Gear 2 smoke) since NB is the publisher for both series games.

Hopefully One Piece if its anything else i probably don't care. Although Musou power rangers would be great.

Isn't there a Power Rangers game in the making that's like the Musou games? I think something like that was revealed a while back (though not by TK).

But the site revealed that Omega Force are the developers of the PS3 game today, and Omega Force is usually the developer behind the DW games, so I'd pretty much say that it confirmed a DW style game.

Damn i wanna know what game it is!

True but i was thinking of a more international freindly version of power rangers seeing as only 1 out of the 5 super sentai series the japanese wii game is having are ones that ever came over to the west.

That pretty much prevents the Wii game ever going international.

Is it seriously the team working on the main DW series doing this new game. I'd be disappointed if the Ken's rage team weren't on this one, I know that team went on to do Gundam Musou 3. Considering Omega force should be working on XL i would be suprised if the Kens rage team weren't working on this new prokect seeing as they don't seem to be making anything at the moment.

Unfortunately I've only seen a little Power Rangers back when i was a child, since sadly they banned it here because "children started fighting" when they watched it.

So I can't say I'm to much of a fan of it, but i guess they should make a more "international" game instead of what they are doing.

And it says "Produced by ω (Omega) -Force" on the teaser sight right now, so it is them.

If it's the team behind Ken's Rage & DW Gundam 3 which are making this game, I hope they'll make it more like DW Gundam rather than Ken's Rage, since Ken's Rage feel somewhat sluggish to me, and I also prefer the amount of enemies in DW Gundam.

I can't say I'm excited yet but I wasn't about Gundam as I knew nothing about it but now I love the DWGundam games so I'm guessing the same will happen with this *crosses fingers*

Aw, i was hoping more for DW Toriko, but i guess this could be good. Wonder how far in the story they will go though?

Edit: Forgot to mention that this game should at least be released in Europe since TKE was tweeting about the teaser site, and that I'd say would be quite mean if they weren't going to release it. :P

Yeah, importing is one way to go if it won't be released.

Thought that we might also post some kind of "wishlists" for this game? So if anyone has any interesting wishes for it, it'd be nice to see it.

So far my wishlist is quite short, but it's the following:

First of all, local 4-player co-op! Seriously I love playing co-op games locally, but this console generation has been really worthless when it comes to local co-op games (or actually it's been worthless when it comes to multiplayer at all, with almost all games only having online multiplayer which is better off on PC's). Sure a few 2 player local co-op games exist, but there's barely any 4 player ones at all.

So I'd really love seeing such in this game.

Other than that i mostly just want a large rooster with characters to be playable.

Most wanted character is definitely Kaku. But I'd also love seeing characters like Boa Hancock, Aokiji, Phoenix Marco (first division commander of the Whitebeard Pirates), Jewelry Bonney and maybe even Neptune? :P

Your list is really optimistic. I would love to have Kaku, but realistically we'll only see Lucci as playable if any of CP9 are playable. Out of the ones you listed Hancock is th most likely just for fan service but i really doubt she'll be in unless the playable list is huge. I'm expecting a condensed roster like Ken's rage although we'll see a few of those as bosses hopefully.

4 player co-op locally will never happen. They'd have to really dumb down the game for that to happen, i see 2 player happening. Ideally i would like co-op in story mode. If we're lucky 4 player co-op online like gundam 3 maybe implemented.
