    Default Dynasty Warriors 5

Ok so i'm playing this game at the moment but i'm wondering where do i find items and weapons?
Do i have to deligate/ consult with my officers to make the items? Or is there another specific way to find them?
Every crate or jar (whatever it is, huge plant pot) i smash is empty!
    I'm clearly completely missing something

I think the crates were lazily unremoved from the game. They are empty.

Use the Smith policy to upgrade your weapons.

For items you'll see each area has items under its control. You must conquer them and them develop using the devolpment policy. You are then able to upgrade.

No problem. We can use this topic to discuss the game even further if you wish.

I've never really been a fan of the Empires games. I'm way more into the XL's and playing the actual history. Plus I like the challenges of getting special weapons. However, there's one thing I love and that's the ability to choose music from the previous and past titles.

You mean you can choose the music in DW5E from past DW games?
    Cool.
I've been playing Empires just for a change really, for a bit of variety. Also to get me ready for DW6E so i know what i'm doing more when it comes out.

Those empty crates and vases are annoying though, i wish they'd just left them out completely to be honest.

I created a character in edit mode and saved it but never used it (it may have even been in DW5XL that i created the character). Anyway all of a sudden the character that i'd created appeared on the battlefield as an enemy. I thought this was a really nice touch.

Yep you can choose the music pre-battle, the screen just before you start the stage where you can equip, etc. Or just look in the sound menu in options. Music from DW3 and 4.

I love DW5 empires. I love the empire games. I must say the complexicty of DW5 empires compared to DW4 Empires did take abit of getting used to.

Well i just finished the Yellow Turban scenario, now onto Dong Zhou In Luo Yang scenario.
I love this game so much.

LittleDragonZ, what is it that you're not keen on with the Empires games?

Perhaps its because there is too many routes to go down, not entirely sure. But without the likes of cutscenes and stage events plus dialogue, I can say I just get tired of them. I guess they are the reasons then.

XL adds stages and special weapons which is really what I always want.

I love the fact that there are so many routes to take, it kinda opens up the game in big way.
I agree with you on the cutscenes part though!

I like the Destiny mode in DW5XL although i have found it a little difficult at times. Practice makes perfect, lol!
