Gan Ning is a powerful character however cocky. i have to say his appearence annoyed me in DW5 but his voice was quite good for him. i feel that his new appearence, weapons and moveset are better suited to him however i think the voice is just wrong for him and the appearence

Gan Ning became one of my favorite really in DW6. His daggars were really fun to use and he looked cool with his armor. Although the collar around his neck looks retarded. I give Gan Ning a thumbs up because his character is cool, and hey, Who doesn't love a pirate?

i didnt like him with his sword and with no shirt and stuff and his voice. Until DW6 when he had the daggers and a better outfit and voice and he became my favorite character in DW6

Yea hes one of the cool chars, he always struck me as wu's lu bu.
Where shu had guan yu as the guy you didnt want to face and wei had zhang liao as the guy you didnt want to face.

He fei was awesome, both zhang liao and gan ning dogfighting eachothers forces as their greatest assets.

But seeing as i always sided favoriting zhang liao i started to hate gan ning (as an opponent)

In my opinion, Zhou Tai would be Wu's Lu Bu because he is the strongest and most fierce character on Wu. It's just he was Sun Quan's bodyguard. Although, after his rank rose, he became one of the most fierce warriors ever on Wu.

Gan ning's voice actor fit perfictly with him in DW6 but in DW5 his voice was not suited for him

but overall Gan ning rocks loved his fighting style in both DW5 and DW6 but he looked way cooler in DW5 with all his tattoos

Gan Ning, number 3 on my list of faves. The personailty was actually the first thing to draw me into him. His weapon was always pretty average to me until DW6E when they gave him the double knives. He took a leap into 2nd for me on that one, just behind Ling Tong. I even modeled my first and favorite created warrior in DW6E after his personality/weapon/clothing though with more of Keiji's looks/headgear before I even knew who Keiji was since I never got very into the Samurai Warriors series. Would like to see them go back to having him wear the bells, though, since they were supposedly a trademark for him, setting fear into his enemies with the mere sound of them.
